The Chicago Short Film Festival celebrates innovative storytelling and creativity in short-form cinema. With live screenings at one of the city’s favorite indie cinemas, CSFF will showcase a diverse range of films from emerging and established filmmakers both local and international. The festival provides a platform for artistic expression, networking, and recognition in the global film community.
The 2025 Chicago Short Film Festival will take place December 5–6 at the historic Facets Cinema in downtown Chicago. Facets Cinema is among the city’s longest-running and one of the few remaining independent cinemas in Chicago.
With space for dozens of films and networking events, the Chicago Short Film Festival is aiming to become a focal point of indie filmmaking in Chicago. Join us for the 2025 festival.
